Contacts

King George County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm present custody, release anyone, post a bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those needs to the appropriate public custodian below.

Official Records Contacts

The right contact depends on who created and holds the record. Sheriff-created arrest or incident material is separate from an RRJ booking item, and neither replaces a court disposition or later state-custody record. The addresses and contacts below are the documented routes for King George County.

King George County Sheriff's Office

Address: 10445 Government Center Boulevard, King George, VA 22485
Non-emergency: 540-775-2049
Administration and records: 540-775-8596, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
FOIA contact: Jackie Carpenter

For a Sheriff-created arrest, incident, or crime-report record, use the King George County FOIA form and select the Sheriff department. A request should identify the existing record as specifically as possible.

Rappahannock Regional Jail

Main line: 540-288-5245
FOIA Officer: Santina Thelen, P.O. Box 3300, Stafford, VA 22555
FOIA phone: 540-288-5268

RRJ serves as the regional adult-custody facility for King George. Its public roster is for current regional custody. Direct a request for an existing RRJ booking record or adult initial-intake photograph to the jail’s FOIA Officer.

Court and State-Custody Routes

For what happened after a booking, start with Virginia Judiciary online services. King George General District Court is at 10446 Government Center Boulevard, Suite 105, King George, VA 22485, 540-775-2390. King George Circuit Court is at 10446 Government Center Boulevard, Suite 271, King George, VA 22485, 540-775-3322.

For a person in state custody or supervision, use the Virginia Department of Corrections locator. Its FOIA Office lists FOIA@vadoc.virginia.gov and 804-963-2953 for state-held record guidance. VADOC is not the ordinary King George booking channel.

Use the source that matches the question:

  • For a current local-custody check, begin with the RRJ public roster.
  • For an earlier RRJ booking record or adult initial-intake photo, use the RRJ FOIA contact.
  • For a Sheriff incident or arrest record, submit the County FOIA form to the Sheriff department.
  • For a case result, use the Virginia Judiciary case-information services and the relevant court.
  • For a person in state custody or supervision, use VADOC rather than the local-jail roster.
  • For a federal custody question, use the official BOP Inmate Locator.
  • For a qualifying immigration-detention search, use the official ICE Online Detainee Locator System.

For more context on the distinction among those channels, the King George County records guide covers current custody, records requests, and later court review. Warrant questions are addressed through official channels on Sheriff's Most Wanted.
